My field of expertise is project management, with a specific interest in the role projects play in changing towards more sustainable enterprises. Project management is positioned in all three masters I teach in and the link to sustainability is also addressed in the MSc Innovation in European Business and the MSc Project Management. Of course, the relationship between innovation and sustainability is not a stretch to imagine. I enjoy working in these programs because the master students are committed and high level. By combining theoretical inputs and practical cases, we bring the topics to life. HU is committed to quality: both in the team and in the students.

I chose this master’s as it offered a gateway into the world of change and innovation. Coming from a BSc in Social Science, I had a background in sustainability and economics, and wanted to focus more on international business and innovation. The travel aspect of this masters is also very appealing, living in three different countries and adapting to other cultures proved to be an incredible experience! I wanted to study in HU as I had heard many of my friends travel to Utrecht and they all spoke highly of the facilities and atmosphere of the college. The standard of teaching is very high, with many of the lecturers bringing years of industry experience to the classroom. As I will be working with a technology start-up upon completion of this program, much of the lessons learned in HU will provide a solid foundation for my career. I hope to take the lessons from this master’s, and the industry experience gained, and start my own company in the near future.
