Utrecht Regional Learning Network: Learning for the Future

Within the Utrecht Youth Regional Learning Network, professionals, lecturers, students, young people, educators, researchers and policy makers are brought together to work on themes within the broader domain of Youth, with the aim of sharing their knowledge and experience to ensure that education and practice are properly aligned. Innovative and unifying solutions and educational products are being developed to support this endeavour.

Approach

We collect knowledge topics in two ways:

  • via discussions between student interns, lecturers and youth professionals working at institutions within our network.
  • via idea-harvesting discussions regarding research projects.

Objective

The purpose of this network is to share existing practical and educational knowledge and experience within the broader domain of Youth, so that (future) youth professionals can be better equipped to contribute to a healthy climate of education and development as well as to provide effective tailored support for young people and families. We develop innovative and unifying solutions and educational products in collaboration with the stakeholders.

Duration

02 September 2018 - 02 November 2020

Results

Various meetings have already taken place, during which much valuable knowledge was shared and various new ideas for (educational) products were developed.
