Benny M.E. de Waal has a technical degree from Breda University of Applied Sciences and studied Organisational and Labour Psychology at Tilburg University.
He works as an educator in the fields of Business Process Management, Business IT Alignment and Information Management. In addition, Benny serves as programme manager for the Business Information Management major. Within the Research group, he focuses in his research on Business IT Alignment. His is also working on PhD research into the acceptance and success of process innovations.
The latter study examines how user participation contributes to the successful development and acceptance of such innovations, as undertaken by organisations working in construction, the public and semi-public sectors, education, business services and healthcare. The results of this research continue to be published via a variety of international journals and conferences.
