Dick de Haan PhD (1959) has been a member of the Research group Normative Professionalisation since September 2015. His research looks at which interventions could optimise the alumni policy of HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
Dick de Haan has been working for the HU Teacher Training for Primary Education programme since 2002. He obtained his doctorate in 2015 on research into the relationship between Dalton Plan education, school improvement and the quality of education. He current work is primarily aimed at study group learning within the flexible part-time programme and supervising students during work placements and the graduation phase. He is also an alumni advisor for the HU Teacher Training for Primary Education programme as well as for the overall HU alumni policy.
