Edwin de Raaij MSc (1964) conducts doctoral research at VU Amsterdam on Illness perceptions in patient-centred physiotherapy. His research examines whether thoughts about, for example, back complaints (illness perceptions) influence movement and whether a physical therapist can influence these thoughts.
