Erik Puik PhD (1964) has worked as professor since 2006. He has been awarded two degrees – in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering – by the Institute of Technology in Eindhoven.
Following his graduation, Erik worked for Océ Technologies as a group leader and project leader. At Océ, he headed a team that focussed on the development of sub-functions for photocopiers, printers and scanners and was involved in multiple patent applications.
After this, he has been working from 2000 to the present as MST/MEMS project leader for TNO Industrie & Techniek. Here, he has handled various research projects relating to the development and production of microsystems and precision components.
