Guido van der Burg graduated in 1991 as a Business Economist at Erasmus University Rotterdam, after which he immediately started working for ABN AMRO Bank. After a 17-year career at ABN AMRO he began working at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in 2010.
As a lecturer at the Finance & Accounting Institute, he teaches subjects such as Financing, Investment Studies and Business Economics, and supervises graduates during their research. He is also chairman of the Finance & Accounting Institute Council and is a member of the Employees’ and Students’ Council. He has been affiliated as a researcher with the Research group Financial-Economic Advice in Innovation since 2017 and is involved in research into Stacked Finance.
In his spare time, he is a photographer and likes to sail and play golf.
