Linda Smit, PhD, RN, is postdoctoral researcher at the research group Proactive care for older people. Her research focus is to optimalise the development and evaluation of complex healthcare interventions. Linda is also lecturer at the Master of Integrated Care Design at the University of Applied Science Utrecht.
Since 2015, Linda started at the University of Applied Sciences-Utrecht as a researcher at the research group Proactive care for older people and as lecturer at the Bachelor of Nursing. In 2017, she started as a lecturer at the Nursing Science program at University Medical Centr Utrecht. The following year she began as a lecturer at the Master of Integrated Care Design at the University of Applied Science Utrecht.
The methodological challenges in intervention research puzzles Linda and inspires her at the same time in pioneering new research methodologies to optimize the development and evaluation of complex interventions. Linda is determined to continue her work in this research area and share her insights within education.
