Arjan van Os

Lecturer-researcher

Arjan van Os studied Healthcare Ethics & Policy at the University of Humanistic Studies and worked as a nurse for fifteen years. Arjan has experience in general health care, mental health care and worked in a penitentiary institution. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer in ethics at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. Since 2020, he has been collaborating on various qualitative research projects. He also has experience as a moderator in the field of ethics and professional attitudes in healthcare practice, including moral deliberation, ethics committees, learning for professionals and normative professionalisation. He is married and has four daughters. 

Teacher at the courses BA Nursing, Social Psychiatric Nurses, MA Advanced Nursing Practice.
