Ruben Kraaijeveld

Researcher

Ruben Kraaijeveld works as a researcher within the research group of organizing decent work of the Knowledge Centre Social Innovation and is also a lecturer for the Human Resource Management degree programme. Ruben likes to work at the intersection of research and practice. He has experience as a scientific researcher as well as a researcher and consultant in the profit sector. 

Ruben has a background as a movement scientist and occupational physiotherapist. Since his graduation in 2006 he works in the field of work and health. Work is important for a good health, whilst work can also be sickening. That contradiction in work makes it a very interesting topic to research. Within the research group Rubens’ research focusses on promotion of mental health at work. For the Human Resource Management degree programme Ruben supervises students with their graduation project.
