Delinquency has its price: A research on collaboration in the judicial and societal domain regarding delinquents in debt

Debt problems among delinquents are highly prevalent, complex, and deeply rooted, and ask for a interdisciplinary approach within both the judicial and societal domain. Therefore, insight is needed into the role of the organizations involved in the approach of debt among delinquents and the working elements in the collaboration and the way they can be strengthened. 

Objective

This research aims at getting insight into the working elements in collaboration within the judicial and societal domain regarding delinquents in debt. In addition, in this study, collaboration with be practiced and strengthened based on evaluation regarding its working elements. 

Results

The research aims at developing tools to strengthen the collaboration in the judicial and societal domain regarding delinquents in debt.

Approach

Together with organizations within the judicial and societal domain collaboration regarding delinquents in debt will be developed and strengthened. This postdoc research is a follow up to the PhD research of Gercoline van Beek on debt among delinquents.
