Dr. Gercoline van Beek is a senior researcher within the research groups Working with Mandated Clients. Debt and Debt collection and Housing and Wellbeing, all of the Research Centre for Social Innovation. She is also a lecturer at the Master’s programme Forensic Social Professional (Institute for Law).
Gercoline has a background in social sciences. During her bachelor's degree at Radboud University Nijmegen, she combined organisational and behavioural principles. She subsequently obtained a research master's degree and for some time after, she participated in research projects at the Radboud University Nijmegen.
Gercoline's expertise lies within the disciplines of forensics and debt counselling. She holds a PhD degree in research into the complexity of financial issues among probation clients.
For the Master's programme Forensic Social Professional, Gercoline mainly provides research education and graduation supervision.
