Guidelines for determining the level of supervision

Probation supervision must be tailored to the client's needs. This applies to the guidance provided, the degree of control and the intensity. In cooperation with the Dutch probation service, we develop guidelines for determining the activities and methods used during probation supervision, including the level of supervision.

Objective

Support decision-making on probation supervision. The starting point is that most guidance is given to clients who need it most.

Results

Guidelines for the contents of probation supervision and determination of the level of supervision.

"The guidelines should be helpful to probation officers and ensure that most efforts go to clients who need it most."
