Usable Cybersecurity

In this project we are researching how you can help people in the workplace to behave more digitally secure through user focused design.

Objective

The goal of this project is to develop a user focused approach for usable cybersecurity based on scientific insights about behaviour and design, applied in practice.

Results

The result will be a framework which would give insight into a user centred approach towards usable cybersecurity. It is a convenient manner to understand how digital actions can be made more secure through the design of security measures.

Duration

01 October 2022 - 01 October 2023

Approach

Insights about usable cybersecurity will be collected through a practical assignment and literature. These insights will be used as a guide for creating user focused design during co-design sessions with experts. The designs created through this session will be tested and the gained knowledge will be put into a broader context.
