Arjen Wierikx
Arjen Wierikx is a transformation consultant, executive coach, and lecturer specializing in organizational change, digital transformation, and circular transitions. Since 2019, he has been affiliated with the Institute for People & Business and the Research Group Process Innovation and Information Systems at HU Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches and contributes to practice-oriented research at the intersection of strategy, organizational development, and technology.
With more than 30 years of experience, Arjen has supported organizations in logistics, manufacturing, government, and IT in complex transformation and implementation programs. He combines a strong technical background with a deep focus on people, leadership, and collaboration. Arjen holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and completed several post-graduate programs in leadership, systemic work, and business strategy.
In addition to his teaching, coaching and consulting activities, Arjen recently completed his PhD research on organizational maturity and capabilities for the circular economy.
Arjen reached a doctoral master on the TU Delft and the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1992 with a specialisation in Logistics and ICT. Besides he is NLP, TA en Prosci certified, to look to the role of the human in a changing environment. Arjen has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain and logistical environments.
Within research Group Proces Innovation & Informatie Systems, Arjen focuses his research on the changing role of the human as a result of the more and more circular focus of these processes.
