Elmy Maas (MSc) has been working as a researcher within the Innovation in Preventive Care research group since August 2023. She’s involved in various projects, including the projects “Gezonde Peutermonden” and “Succesverhalen”.
After obtaining her diploma as a dental hygienist from the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen in 2019, Elmy continued her studies with a Master's in Clinical Health Sciences at Utrecht University. During her master's program, she completed an internship at Innovations in Preventive Care, conducting research on recovery care after breast cancer and saliva biomarkers for early detection of metabolic syndrome.
Elmy's interests extend beyond dental health, and she has a strong ambition to continue growing as a researcher, and aims for improvements in healthcare. Furthermore, Elmy works as a dental hygienist teacher at HU University of Applied Sciences.
