Researcher
Eva has been working as a researcher on the Back2Action project since January 2020. The aim of her doctoral project is to improve care for individuals with persistent neck and/or back pain by evaluating and implementing a biopsychosocial approach in physiotherapy practice.

Richtext

As a physiotherapist, Eva has experienced that persistent pain is hard to treat successfully, despite of the high level of healthcare in the Netherlands. As a researcher, she aims to contribute to a deeper understanding and improved treatment for pain, specifically focusing on chronic neck and/or back pain, through the Back2Action project.

The Back2Action project connects physiotherapy and clinical psychology through online modules that physiotherapists can use alongside their regular treatments. The online modules primarily focus on the mental issues that often play a significant role in neck and/or back pain.
