Jeff Gradener (1964) studied biology-chemistry at the teacher-training institute in Utrecht (SOL) and chemical biology at Utrecht University. He has been a teacher trainer at the Archimedes Institute of HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht since 1993.

Jeff has been involved in various innovative projects for the design, introduction and supervision of state-of-the-art and modern education.

Since 1 September 2017, Jeff has been a member of the Research group Curriculum Development in Primary and Secondary Education, under the direction of Professor Elwin Savelsbergh.

Jeff is particularly interested in the sustainable education of broadly employable science teachers. Within the research group, he wishes to delve further into what second- and first-level teachers require from their education in order to be successful in the development and implementation of state-of-the-art and interdisciplinary education.
