Mirjam Snel
Since 2022, Mirjam Snel has been a senior lecturer in 'language/reading' at the research group Curriculum Development in Primary and Secondary Education. Together with lecturers and teachers, she conducts research into reading didactics (deep reading).
Mirjam started her career at a primary school, studied educational sciences and obtained her Ph.D. (2014) with a research on reading education and the reading development of pupils in grade 1.
In addition to conducting research, Mirjam provides and develops education at IvOO, supervises schools, is a member of the Taalraad and chair of the Kennistafel Effectief Leesonderwijs.
