Rosie Martinez Dekker is a fashion business professional , a part time lecturer at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and founder of Believe Creative Studio.

She possess a juxtaposed blend of corporate and creative professional , with a progressive career in apparel and fashion industry with extensive International business experience worked in Mexico, United States and The Netherlands.

Born and raised in Mexico city in 1972. Studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in Graphic and textile design and graduated in 1995. Worked in the textile and fashion industry from 1994, in several local textile companies and global brands in different positions as textile designer , design director, materials manager, sustainable product development manager.

In 2000 studied a postgraduated degree at Universidad Iberoamericana in Strategic Management and business development.

In 2006 moved to Portland Oregon to work at Nike Global headquarters where she worked there to be promoted in 2008 to a Materials Manager position in Nike European headquarters

Rosie left the corporate world to found a textile design studio called Believe creative Studio with the focus on textile design and illustration.

In 2014 Rosie started her lecturer path at the Amsterdam Fashion Academy teaching several subjects with in the Fashion Business Bachelor in 2019 Rosie joined the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht Creative Business bachelor as lecturer in diverse topics such as Entrepreneurship, Influencing the audiences, Crossmedia Fundamentals and Managing creative process.

In 2019 Rosie graduated from the Master in Fashion brands management and in 2020 she obtained the Didactic qualification (Bekwaamheid-HBO)

Currently Rosie is taking the role as module coordinator of Media culture course and working on a founding a second company called Be Mavens.
