This Fellowship is an incentive grant for Dr. Marleen Sol, aimed at strengthening knowledge and research on the theme “Good Use of Assistive Devices (GGH) at home” for children.
The activities in the fellowship focus on:
1. Central input from parents and children on project ideas and development
Implementation activities
2. This fellowship is part of the ZonMw program line Good Use of Assistive Devices Care. There is a collaboration between Academic Workplaces and other GGH Fellowships in the Netherlands to improve the research infrastructure in the field of assistive device care.

Results

Three research proposals in the field of effectiveness of assistive devices for children:

1. Participation of assistive device users (child and parent) 5 times a year
2. Stakeholder meetings (3 times a year)
3. At least three implementation products

Approach

The activities can be divided into five themes:

1. Aligning research activities with practice
2. Aligning research activities with the needs of assistive device users
3. Translating input into three new research proposals
4. Development into an ambassador
5. Implementing (existing) knowledge
