Anouk Neerincx has been working as a researcher at Smart Systems for Healthy Living (SHL) since April 1, 2025. Her research focuses on human-robot interaction for well-being. In addition to being a researcher, she works as a lecturer at the Institute for ICT.

Anouk has a background in psychology (BSc) and AI (MSc) with a focus on cognitive science. Her PhD research at Utrecht University focused on social robots for the mental support of children in general healthcare. She has experience with both qualitative and quantitative methods, such as co-design, user studies and statistical modeling.
