Camila Melícia Valgas is a researcher at the research group Quality Journalism in Digital Transition. As a journalism researcher, she is interested in journalistic innovation in the digital age and its effects on different audiences and broader society.
Camila graduated in 2017 from the bacholer's degree in Journalism at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). In 2021, she completed her master's degree in Media Studies with a specialization in Digital Culture at Maastricht University with the scholarship Orange Tulip.
Since January 2022, Camila has been a researcher at Journalismlab. Within the research group, she has participated in different research projects, including Documenting Complexity and Van Black Box naar Glass Box. In addition to her work as a researcher, Camila is responsible for video production and web design activities for the research group.
