Coert van Gemeren
Coert van Gemeren works as a researcher Responsible AI within the research group Artificial Intelligence since February 2023. Here he will focus on researching the responsible use of AI in society, with a specialization in Computer Vision applications of AI.

Coert van Gemeren earned a PhD at Utrecht University in 2019 on the topic in Computer Vision and AI. He did research on modeling dyadic human interactions, where he studied methods for training pose+motion models of fine-grained face-to-face interactions in unsegmented videos.
After his promotion he has worked in industry on creating visual salience prediction models for video ads and images.
