Corelien Kloek works as a senior researcher for the Research group Innovation of Movement Care, where she focuses on the theme 'Integrating new technology in movement care'.
After completing her bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and her master's degree in Health Sciences, she conducted doctoral research between 2013-2018 on the e-Exercise blended programme for patients with osteoarthritis of the hip and/or knee. With e-Exercise, face-to-face physiotherapy treatments are integrated with a smartphone app that contains information, exercise and exercise modules.
Since 2016, Corelien has been working as a researcher at the Research group Innovation of Movement Care at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. Corelien supervises various PhD candidates, junior researchers and trainees within the theme ‘'De integratie van nieuwe technologie binnen de beweegzorg’ (‘Integrating new technology in movement care’). Examples of projects are the e-Exercise line of research, the blended physiotherapy checklist and the Fysio Future Lab.
