Frederik Bullens
Frederik Bullens has been working as a researcher for the Research Group Youth since May 1, 2024. The Research Group strengthens the position of young people, educators, and families, enabling them to have the best possible opportunity for a flourishing life. Creating space for diversity and inclusion within the school system is an important part of its mission.
Frederik Bullens works as a remedial educationalist and family therapist in Youth Care. He supports families in which a child cannot attend school. As a researcher for the Research Group Youth, he is affiliated with five educational programs: Expressive Therapy Drama, Social Work Youth, Ecological Pedagogy, Educational Needs, and Nursing Studies.

Through action research, Frederik aims to transform the pedagogical ecosystem to ensure that neurodiverse children can fully enjoy education and that children's rights are upheld. He is committed to the values of (epistemological) justice, inclusion, and equal participation.
