Dr. ir. Hanneke Kruize has been working as a L.INT professor of Healthy Urban Development within the Building Future Cities research group since 1 October 2021. She focuses on the development of evidence-based, practice-oriented design principles for a healthy living environment.
In this joint professorship by HU and RIVM, the central question is: how can we create green and quiet places in areas with urban densification that meet the wishes of all stakeholders? The research group works closely with, among others, the province of Utrecht and the municipality of Utrecht.
