Henderik Proper

Henderik Proper, Erik for friends, is Full Professor in Enterprise & Process Engineering at the TU Wien (Vienna Technical University, Vienna), and is since 2022 a Visiting Professor in Enterprise & Information Systems Engineering within the Lectorate Process Innovation and Information Systems. In the latter capacity, he is involved in both the quality control of the Master Thesis projects of the Master of Applied Data Science, as well as research activities in relation to model-based engineering of enterprises, business processes, and the supporting information systems.

Erik has a rich experience in practice, teaching, and research. From the start of his career he has fascination with the role of (conceptual) modelling during the development, functioning, usage, and management, of information systems in their broader organisational context.
