Jaap Geerds
Jaap Geerds has been working as Project Manager and Researcher for Human Capital Innovation at the Battery Competence Cluster since 1 September 2025. The project aims to support companies in the battery technology sector in attracting, engaging, and retaining talented employees through HR innovation. This initiative is a collaboration between Fontys University of Applied Sciences, HAN University of Applied Sciences, Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, and the Battery Competence Cluster.

In addition to his project work, Jaap serves as Programme Manager of the Master’s in Human Capital Innovation. This programme equips students with the knowledge and skills to understand complex societal challenges that affect people’s work, organizations, and their ecosystems, and to drive innovation in response to these challenges. The research group Organising Decent Work, together with the research groups Networks for Transitions, Organizations in Digital Transition, and Research Capability, plays a prominent role within the master’s programme.
