Jan Stoker
In 2013, Jan Stoker MSc, MEng switched from working in the private sector to the Centre for Applied Science & Technology and the Research group Innovative Real Estate Management at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, in order to continue his research for a PhD from Delft University of Technology.
Jan Stoker also works as a hbo lecturer for the Centre for Applied Science & Technology. As a course leader, he guides and supervises the Rgd-BOEI methodology (IIV/IAV) course participants and lecturers. He also develops curricula for professionals who wish to update their knowledge of technical maintenance and for companies and organisations that want to develop in the field of technical management and maintenance.
When drawing up an integrated service level agreement for the technical management and maintenance of properties, the contract parties often lack a frame of reference for assessing the quality of the technical management and maintenance concepts. This observation led Stoker to concentrate on the following question in his doctoral research: How does one measure the quality of the collaboration between the client, the contractor and the end user?
