Marte Kuijpers

Lecturer-researcher
Since April 2023, Marte Kuijpers has been working as a researcher within the Research Group on Housing and Wellbeing. Her work focuses primarily on durably ending homelessness through prevention, housing, support and community integration.

Her current research activities focus mainly on large scale data gathering on the nature and scope homelessness in the Netherlands through the conduction of homelessness counts. In addition, she is involved in research on Housing First.

Marte is committed to strengthening the connection between research, practice, and policy. By conducting research in co-creation with local professionals and people with lived experience, she aims to contribute to the improvement of the situations of society’s most vulnerable individuals.
