Maurits Hagemans
Maurits is senior onderzoeker bij het lectoraat Procesinnovatie en Informatiesystemen binnen het Toekomstbestendige Leefomgeving Consortium Gebouwen van het Nationaal Groeifonds. Hij richt zich op de transities naar een circulaire economie in België en Nederland. Hij heeft onderzoek gedaan naar Digital Twins, digitale transitie en circulariteit in de bouw.
Maurits graduated from the Industrial Metaverse in the Master Media Innovation, with the topic of digital transformation of the construction industry. In various roles and projects Maurits has combined theoretical knowledge with practical applications, advancing digitalization in various research projects including supporting circular concept building in digital information management.
Alongside Media Technology, Crossmedia has been an important focus especially in creative education at Luca School of Arts in Ghent and graphic education in the Netherlands, among others. These include 3D game design, UX/UI, web design and Adobe software.
