Omar El Moussaoui

Omar started as a lecturer at the HU University of Applied Sciences in 2015. In addition to giving lectures in de field of Logistics Management He has been actively involved in redesigning the Logistics Management curriculum and as a member of the Examination Committee. Since 2022 he joined the research group Process Innovation and Information Systems where we currently are developing new data science modules. In the long term his goal is to bridge the gap between research and education with a broad focus on process and logistics management and digitization.


Omar graduated in 2012-2013 with his Master thesis focusing on the transition from an alliance to an M&A in the life sciences industry. Afterwards, He started a freight forwarding company at Schiphol. Subsequently, He set up a business selling organically and fairtrade certified skin products. Currently he is involved in lecturing on topics related to logistics and supply chain management.
