Co-creating knowledge products: research-informed innovation
In this pilot, authors, experts, professionals and NKO staff co-create five thematic pages on research-informed innovation for Onderwijskennis.nl. At the same time, they develop, test and evaluate a co-creation approach for knowledge products in which scientific and practice-based knowledge enrich each other.
Objective
The pilot develops a co-creation approach for NKO knowledge products and examines what can be learned from it. The five thematic pages should be scientifically grounded, integrate multiple perspectives and better reflect the knowledge and needs of education professionals.
Results
- Five developed or updated thematic pages on Onderwijskennis.nl.
- Five thematic review articles with research-informed courses of action.
- Sections with practical guidance, examples and further resources.
- A tested and evaluated co-creation approach for NKO knowledge products.
Approach
Authors work iteratively through six phases: planning, inventory, co-creation, design, revision and launch. Carousel sessions involve experts and education professionals. NKO safeguards content, accessibility and scientific quality, while the process is continuously documented and evaluated.
The pilot covers five themes: innovative capacity, systemic change, creative intervention methods in change processes, adaptive leadership and evidence-informed innovation. Three thematic pages are new and two existing pages will be updated.
