Healthcare Innovation Ecosystem
The healthcare sector faces obstacles that slow down the market introduction and acceptance of innovations. An integrated approach, strengthening test environments and collaboration with local stakeholders such as educational institutions and healthcare organizations, can accelerate acceptance. Therefore, this project aims to develop a sustainable ecosystem that fosters innovation in the Utrecht region.
Goal
The goal is to develop an integrated and sustainable structure over a period of 3 years for a regional ecosystem where public and private parties collaborate on societal issues in the social domain and primary care.
This project promotes collaboration between test environments in the city, involving resident coalitions, educational institutions, SMEs, healthcare organizations, and the social sector. Subgoals include developing a regional database, health innovation, business design, and strengthening the structure of living labs.
