HU Imagination(s)-phase 1

The goal of the project is to explore how imaging can contribute to strengthening an inclusive HU community. Based on the research, we aim to create a 'toolkit' to increase awareness and competence regarding the power of imagination and imagery. All of this is for and by HU as a diverse and inclusive community.

Objective

  • We want to raise awareness about imagery within the HU community through an exhibition at HU.
  • We aim to provide tools for an ongoing work process to promote a diverse and inclusive HU community through a toolbox. The toolbox could, for example, be structured as a style guide. It will be distributed by the D&I network among HU staff, lecturers, and students. The toolbox will be designed in such a way that everyone can use it to create and/or use inclusive and diverse images for dissemination within HU.
  • The toolbox will also include methods that can be used to work with a group, such as students or lecturers, to engage with imagery, inclusion, and diversity.

Results

A tool within the HU community aimed at strengthening an inclusive HU community.
