MAPIT – Mobilizing Advanced Partnerships for Digital Innovation and Transformation

  • Project
  • September 2024 – August 2026

MAPIT strengthens the international participation of innovative SMEs and research institutions in widening countries. The project connects five digital innovation centers to European R&I networks, supporting sustainable internationalization and better university–industry collaboration.

Objective

The aim of MAPIT is to increase the participation of innovative SMEs and research-performing organizations from widening countries in Horizon Europe. The project enhances R&I capacities through cluster formation, partnership roadmapping using conversational AI tools, and professional development for international R&I managers. Together, these efforts support sustainable internationalization and integration into the European Research Area.

MAPIT builds on newly established digital innovation centers in Türkiye and Estonia, enabling SMEs to access advanced R&I infrastructures. By fostering cross-border collaboration, best practices, and joint initiatives, the project contributes to more inclusive European innovation ecosystems.
