Brigitte de Kok (MSc) is a junior researcher affiliated with the research group Working in Education and works as a lecturer at IvOO. Her main focus is on (practice-oriented) research into teacher professionalization and student agency.
Brigitte is interested in educational innovations and the role of students, education professionals, and school organizations in it. In her research, she enjoys collaborating with schools to stay closely connected to practice. She has experience conducting (qualitative and quantitative) impact studies and literature reviews.
Brigitte obtained her teaching qualification for primary education and her bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences (ALPO) at Utrecht University and HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. After her bachelor's degree, she took courses at the University of Uppsala (Sweden). She obtained her research master's degree in Educational Sciences at Utrecht University as well.
