Dr. Carla Agasi-Idenburg has been working as a researcher within the Innovation of Movement Care professorship since 2020, where she focuses on movement care research in the fields of oncology and geriatrics. Additionally, she works as a lecturer at the Master's program in Geriatric Physiotherapy and the Bachelor's program in Physiotherapy and Exercise Therapy.

Carla Agasi-Idenburg originally worked as a hospital physiotherapist. Additionally, she studied Clinical Health Sciences at Utrecht University. During the final phase of this program, she became a lecturer in Geriatric Physiotherapy at the Master's in Physiotherapy program at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. In 2020, she obtained her PhD in the field of cancer-related fatigue in older adults. Since 2020, she has been working as a researcher at the Innovation of Movement Care professorship.
