Jenny Zwijnenburg has been working as a Professional Doctorate candidate within the lectorate of Housing and Wellbeing since July 2024. Her project focuses on the further development of the intervention 'Support-nets', in order to optimally contribute to reducing social isolation.
Jenny is a social worker. In her social work and research, she focuses on alleviating social isolation. The Support-nets intervention, which she developed, aims to foster mutual support among participants. In a safety net network, people who are socially isolated become meaningful to one another. This alleviates their social isolation. The intervention is included in Movisie’s database of effective interventions.
"The Support-net intervention is incredibly valuable, but they don't just develop on their own. I hope that my work contributes to the successful and sustainable development of Support-nets."
