Nienke Patist
Nienke Patist has been working as a PhD student within the research group Proactive Care since February 2024. Her PhD research project will focus on the (further) development, implementation and evaluation of an integrated community-based lifestyle approach (in Leidsche Rijn, a neighborhood in Utrecht, the Netherlands).

The number of older people and people with multimorbidity is increasing and simultaneously there is a growing shortage of health care professionals. With the research project in Leidsche Rijn, we will focus on community-based prevention, interprofessional collaboration and health behavior to keep health care accessible and affordable.
