Nienke Patist
Nienke Patist has been working as a PhD student within the research group Proactive Care For Older People Living at Home since February 2024. Her PhD research project will focus on the (further) development, implementation and evaluation of an integrated community-based lifestyle approach (in Leidsche Rijn, a neighborhood in Utrecht, the Netherlands).

The number of older people and people with multimorbidity is increasing and simultaneously there is a growing shortage of health care professionals. With the research project in Leidsche Rijn, we will focus on community-based prevention, interprofessional collaboration and health behavior to keep health care accessible and affordable.
