Robert Jan Veldman
After completing a studies in Medical Biology (Utrecht University), Robert Jan conducted doctoral research in Groningen, on biochemical processes in the membranes of cancer cells. He continued this research within various postdoc projects in the Netherlands and abroad.
With over twenty scientific articles and an international patent to his name, Veldman is an expert in the field of metabolism, the biological activity of lipids and the analysis of lipids (‘fats’). In his spare time he enjoys skating, diving and astronomy.
