Roos van Vijfeijken
Roos van Vijfeijken has been working as a teacher in the Dental Hygiene programma since 2015. In addition, she is involved in research on the sustainable use of medical materials in (oral) healthcare and is committed to contributing to the sustainability of (oral) healthcare.

After completing the Oral Health Care programme at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Roos started the Master’s programme in Evidence Based Practice in Health Care at the University of Amsterdam. In addition to her active involvement in promoting sustainability within the Oral Health Care curriculum, Roos is starting work on the CirCoLa project. With support from Orange Health and in collaboration with several partners, this project investigates how the use of laminated sterilization pouches can be reduced and how used pouches can be collected and recycled into new products.
