Ruby Janssen, MSc (1981) has been working as a researcher within the Researchgroup of Innovation in Healthcare Processes in Pharmacy (IZF) since March 2019. She is conducting doctoral research on the implementation of innovations in medication use in practice and how these can improve adherence to therapy in primary care.

Ruby studied pharmacy at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (2000-2008). After that, she worked as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy. In 2015, she started at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences as a course coordinator and university lecturer for courses such as Pharmacology and Quality Management.
