Tanja van Mazijk

Researcher

Tanja van Mazijk has been affiliated as researcher with the Research Group Working with Mandated Clients since 2016. Her practical experience with legal affairs and mediation allows her to positively contribute to the research conducted at this research group.

She is a lecturer in Employment Law at the Institute for People & Business at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. She is also the coordinator of the minor 'Employment law in Practice' and she works as a trainer in mediation and conflict management in the Netherlands and abroad. In addition, she is an institute assessor for the MfN.

Tanja van Mazijk worked as a lawyer after completing her law studies. Since 2005, she has been an MfN Register mediator and a court mediator at the courts of law in Utrecht and Zwolle. She specialises in solution-oriented mediation within a broad field of activity: business, professional services and the (semi) public sector (municipalities, education and healthcare).
