    Duration

    01 April 2023 - 31 March 2028

    Approach

The research is divided into four consecutive steps. It starts with a literature review on performance indicators for business performance of primary care physiotherapy organizations. Subsequently, through interviews with owners and managers of physiotherapy organizations, insights are gained into the capabilities an organization needs to integrate, build, and reconfigure its processes (dynamic capabilities).
By repeatedly questioning a large group of physiotherapy organizations over a period of two years, we aim to clarify how the dynamic capabilities of an organization are related to the business performance of these organizations. The acquired knowledge will be processed into a tool that physiotherapy organizations can use in their practice management.
In the final sub-study, we will closely follow a small number of physiotherapy organizations that use the tool to find out if and how the tool contributes to improving the business performance of these organizations.
