Researcher
Fatih Aktas has been a Senior Researcher at the Research Group on Organising Decent Work since 2023. He studies migration, integration and sustainable labor participation, with attention to psychosocial barriers and data-driven insights that structurally embed newcomer perspectives in policy and practice.

He has extensive experience in practice-oriented migration research, qualitative data analysis and the development of innovative research methods. He collaborates closely with municipalities and civil-society organizations and is connected to programs in the social domain, integrating research with education and the professional development of students.

His work is driven by the question of how systems can become more humane. He aims to produce research that not only generates insight but also opens doors: to understanding, access, participation, and policies that genuinely reflect the experiences and strengths of people in vulnerable positions.
