Wilke van Beest has been a researcher for the Reseach group Methodology of Practice-Based since 2015. Her research focuses on the impact of practice-based research. One example of the increased impact of practice-based research is the development of the PRO-model for Hanze University of Applied Sciences.
Wilke has also been working at the Research Group Marketing, Market Research and Innovation since January 2017. Here she conducts doctoral research into the implementation of self-management innovations in healthcare, resulting from practice-based research. This need for this research arose from the increasing demand for marketing expertise to deal with implementation and up-scaling issues within healthcare.
Wilke is affiliated with both research groups for her doctoral research on the implementation and up-scaling of healthcare innovations that are derived from practice-based research in higher professional education. She also works as a researcher for the Creative & Health Innovation Ways of Working Analysis (CHIWAWA) project.
