Emiel Eijdenberg

Researcher

Since July 2024, dr. Emiel Eijdenberg has been working as an Associate Professor at the Lectoraat Marketing & Customer Experience and is affiliated with the Marketing & Commerce Institute. He focuses on the Multiple Value Creation research line.

Prior to his current position at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, dr. Eijdenberg worked at James Cook University, Singapore (2019 – 2024), and the University of Hohenheim in Germany (2016 – 2019). Dr. Eijdenberg obtained his PhD from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2016), where he also studied Business Administration (BSc), Marketing (MSc) and Business Administration (MSc) (2005 – 2010).

Dr. Eijdenberg maintains an active research portfolio and supervises PhD students in the Netherlands and internationally. He conducts research into multiple value creation, often in the context of (social) entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism, and the role of marketing and customer experience herein. His work has been presented at conferences and published in scientific journals and books.
