Josien Boetje MA MSc is a PhD candidate at the Research Group Meaningful Digital Innovation. Since 2021, she has been conducting research on digital literacy within the Digital Innovations in Education research group (DIO). Her mission is developing evidence-based educational strategies for digital literacy.
Josien conducts PhD research on teaching digital information literacy, with a special focus on the role of artificial intelligence in processing and synthesizing information. As an educational specialist, she works on the implementation of Digital Literacy and Digital Didactics curriculum at Institute Archimedes. Additionally, she hosts the DigiSnacks podcast about digital innovations in education.
